Find existing locations error when trying to remove features outside a boundary

Howdy,

I need to remove all polygon features from one layer (1st layer) that are outside of a large polygon (2nd layer).

Keep trying to use the find existing locations analysis tool with the query "1st layer - intersects - 2nd Layer", but after trying for a little while arcGIS online keeps returning an unspecified error. At a loss at to what to do and cant find anything useful online.

Please help me lol
