Is there a way to display a map with the trackin information of a daily activity such as from Garmin Connect collected by a Garmin watch or InReach device?

Hi David -- Yes, I believe there are ways to do that, but this is a better question for the ArcGIS Online space. I'll transfer your question there and I believe you'll get a better response. Once you bring your data into a web map, then you can use that in a StoryMap.

Yup you will have to export from Garmin Connect (CSV or GPX) and upload those to Online. Currently Map Viewer Classic supports GPX and its planned for Map Viewer at a later release in ArcGIS Online. https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/reference/csv-gpx.htm
