Transfer Data from Existing Web Map

I had published a feature service for a client, who's since added their data to a web map that was created from the initial feature service.

Now they're requesting changes to the feature service, but they do not want to re input the data again.

Is there a way that I can update the feature service, but still be able to transfer their existing data from one web map to another, which would

now use the updated feature service?
