Changing projection

Hi, can anyone offer any guidance on how to change projections in AGOL? I've looked at various resources, including https://resources.esri.ca/getting-technical/how-to-change-the-projection-in-arcgis-online-in-one-easy-step, but couldn't follow the steps as I don't have my projected layer set up as a web service.

The only way I'm aware of is to set a layer of the desired projection as the basemap layer.
