Accessing HTML in Popup in New Map Viewer

Hey guys,

I'm attempting update a popup in the New Map Viewer. When I make a change, it changes all the HTML from Map Viewer Classic to default settings.

I can't seem to find a way to edit the popup HTML in the New Map Viewer.

I'm sure I'm just not looking in the right spot. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I thought as well that I was looking in the wrong place. When I came across this issue, the new map viewer was still in Beta. I thought this would get ‘fixed’ when out of Beta, but that does not look like it. Hopefully in an update in the near future.

Check out my post for some thoughts on this and a workaround is suggested.

This seems like a huge oversight to me too.

For now, I still open the map in Map Viewer Classic and edit the pop-up HTML there. Then I can reopen the map in the new Map Viewer and finish my formatting.
