topic Equirectangular Mars coodinate System on Local Scene Glitches in ArcGIS Online Questions

Hi,

I built an App to track the NASA Perseverance Rover on Mars in 3D. I used elevation models with a projected coordinate sytem called EQUIRECTANGULAR_MARS in a Local Scene on ArcGIS Online. The scene renders and shows correct distances and heights, however it glitches a lot when you zoom in too close to objects at certain angles.

I wonder if anyone knows a way to avoid this. Maybe a better supported coordinate system that does not distort distances and heights.

<video-js data-video-id="6255297862001" data-account="6161463677001" data-player="default" data-embed="default" class="vjs-fluid" controls="" data-application-id="" style="width: 100%; height: 100%;"></video-js>
(view in My Videos)
