WFS not showing data

I have a WFS hosted in Geoserver that I would like to add to AGOL. The layer is in ESPG:4326, and it works perfectly in the Geoserver layer preview.
When I add the WFS to AGOL, it asks which type of data I want to display as it may contain complex features (there are only polygons in the table), so I select Polygons.

The data does not show, and the attribute table is empty according to AGOL, even though it recognizes the headers.
Other WFS layers coming from the same Geoserver space with similar polygon data have no issues, and don't ask to choose a preferred display type.

Any thoughts on why this one layer goes wrong would be appreciated!

Does it load in another ArcGIS client, like ArcGIS Pro?
