AGOL 3D web app point cloud profile tool

I am trying to figure out a way to have the 'profile viewing' toolset available in ArcGIS Pro in my 3D web app. The content of this web app is to showcase LiDAR point cloud data and being able to have a profile tool that works similarly to the 'profile viewing' tool in Pro would be ideal. Does anyone have any suggestions of whether this is possible with the current functionality of AGOL and if so how to go about it?

No there currently aren't any built-in profile tools for AGOL for WebApps.

However, the last Javascript API release 4.18 has an ElevationProfile widget. There is a sample you can play around with on that page. This solution would require you to develop your own web page though. I suspect this widget will turn up eventually in AGOL sometime in the future.

Now my one caveat would be be that I don't know if any of these solutions would work with point clouds.

Can I download the code for the webapp I currently have and then go from there?
