I've published several services from ArcMap 10.1 (Build 3035) to ArcGIS online. When I include shapefiles in this service, the resulting map service in ArcGIS online truncates my "Latitude" and "Longitude" fields from 6 decimal places to 2. Additionally, one of the feature attributes ("Perimeter") is turned off when viewed in ArcGIS Online.

I know that I can go in and edit each layer pop-up to add decimals back in and turn on perimeter, but this is really painful for the number of shapefiles we are dealing with.

Why does the creation of the map service change the feature attributes?
