Layer not drawing in ArcGIS.com map

Hello,

I am trying to create a new web map on ArcGIS.com. I am able to see my data in the preview window on this page, https://univofnm.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=8b8615138aaf43bfbdc525edd924c3b7, however when I try to view the map in the ArcGIS.com map viewer, my data won't load. I get an error that says the layer I have added to the map is not responding. The map was made with a service from our own ArcGIS for Server map service. I have been building applications with the Flex Viewer and just now starting to use ArcGIS.com so not sure where to start trouble shooting this. Any ideas on this would be helpful, thank you.

Are you running in the chrome browser? It looks like you have your organization set up with SSL, but your service is non SSL. The browser may be blocking the content as insecure. Do you need SSL on your organization? If so, you'd need to use SSL for the services you add.

For example, this URL works because the map is not being accessed via SSL.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the response. I'm not sure where the SSL is coming from. My ArcGIS account is controlled by some administrator at the university, so I guess it is something she set up. I control my service and I know that is non SSL. I will have to look into this and see what I can find out and if it can be changed.
