If you use the File - Share As - Tile Package method it will also only use a single core of your machine. The tools in the Tile Cache toolbox can be more confusing but they are able to use more than one core.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've been waiting for a week for my tile service to be packaged and published. It's been generating tiles for layer 19 out of 19 for 3 days. Is this unusual?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

And the tiles at the higher scales will take much longer time to complete.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Are you seeing any progress in percentage of tiles completed?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
