I have a web map that contains two layers, call them layers A and layers B. Sometimes when I open the webmap both layers load in
just fine, however; other times one of the layers will receive an error that it cannot be added to the map. It tends to be random at one point I was receiving the error for layer A and at other points I have been receiving the error for layer B. I have tested them in different browsers, and computers. The layer is scale dependent so that the numbers of records drawn at once is below the max value. My field crews require this information with them for their inspections. Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Brian

Sounds like those layers reference services. Are they hosted on ArcGIS Online or on your own ArcGIS Server? The basic problem is that the server is not responding in a timely manner and the application times out.

Thanks,

Mike
