I have uploaded a simple SHP file to a map in ArcGIS Online. I've added some customization within a map (symbology, custom popup, etc.).

I'd like to keep managing that data set in desktop (adding, deleting records). How can I replace the data without losing my customizations. When I go to "Add Layer from File", I get another copy of the layer, with no customization.

Thanks Jake.

For some reason, my uploaded layers are not available for those options. It seems that if you add/upload into a map, you cannot access its properties.

I’ve since uploaded into my “content” and it seems to have all the options I’m looking for.

-Dan
