topic ipad in ArcGIS Online Questions

My school district provided iPads to students. One of my students is having trouble using ArcGIS online on her iPad. She can access her account and search/add layers, but she is missing the various tools available to edit/analyze layers such as the filter tool or analysis that normally appear directly below the layer name. I know other students who are able to access these tools on their iPads and in fact my coteacher was able to access these tools on our demo iPad.

We asked the student having a problem to reboot her iPad, but nothing seems to work. She is logged into the correct account. I am hoping someone here can offer some guidance. I will attach a screenshot from her iPad for reference.
