topic MapService for NetCDF Raster Layer in ArcGIS Online Questions

Hello ... I was wondering if a dynamic time-enabled MapService based on a NetCDF file is possible ? If so, are there any good examples out there ?
Let me explain in details what I am trying to do. So I have a NetCDF file for 12 months of rainfall (monthly averages for a period). I created a
Raster Layer in ArcView from the NetCDF and time enabled it and saved the MXD file . After that I published it online and it sucessfully publishes.

When I try to add it as a service, the time bar / slider shows up but it doesn't render the dataset. This works perfectly fine with vector data. Say project locations by year.

- Hrishi
