Can not edit data or overwrite a AGO HFS

I have a HFS that will suddenly not let me edit any fields using the Create local copy deal in ArcMap.

I check out a local copy, update a field, check back in and no error or anything but the data does not get changed.

AND it will not let me publish over the HFS. I get this weird error about a raster and about it being chached. There is no raster in the publishing map at all. Just a few very simple Feature classes form a small local FGB. This HFS has been working fine for months.

There are no open replicas. Seems to have started after the last AGO update.

Any ideas?
