I have created a dashboard from a webmap that I published. This webmap contains live streaming CAD data. I am able to share the link (to the Dashboard) with my colleagues however, when they open the link, they get the error message, "Map cannot be loaded due to inaccessible base maps." This is the first time, I have received this type of error. Has anyone encountered it? If so, how did you correct it.

Hi Fay,

Does your web map contain custom basemaps or are you using the basemaps included with ArcGIS Online (from the basemap gallery)? If the former, have the appropriate sharing permissions been applied to them?

Hope this helps,

HI,

I am using the basemaps provided by ESRI. This webmap contains live streaming CAD data.

Can you please elaborate more on this? Are these feature layers ... or something else?

This is data were are pulling from our CAD system - only active secure calls. After the CAD data was loaded to our ArcGIS pro map, we created a query layer so that we are only bringing in secure information. We then published a Web Map to use for our CAD Dashboard. This being said, I have noticed something interesting this morning. While looking at the permissions, I noticed that the group that "map_wfl" is assigned to, was missing its check mark. Thinking that this was the problem, I checked the box and opened the Dasboard using the share link. It worked until the Windows Task scheduler ran. After it ran, the check mark disappeared and the Dashboard once again returned its error. While i am pretty sure this is my smoking gun, I am not sure why this particular layer loses it permission after the task scheduler runs.

Can you please contact esri Tech Support and open an issue so they can help investigate further? It would be nice to get detailed repro steps.

Hope this helps,
