Basemap Gallery Empty Error?

When I open any arcgis online webmap (new or existing) within our ArcGIS Online Subscription, if I click on the Basemap button, it comes up with a blank box with no opitons to switch basemaps? I have tried it on 2 different computers using chrome and IE. Seems to make no difference.

Is this a known problem? Is so what is the fix?

Can you go to Edit Settings for the organization > Map > Basemap Gallery and see what it's set to?

Hi Jonathan,

Thank you for your reply. I just got off the phone with ESRI support. The issue was twofold. I had not filled in my organization name in settings, and my default basemap was somehow set to a private group with no maps. Once I filled in my organization name and changed my default basmap to "esri default" the issue was resolved. So your suggestion was the same as the esri support folks.
