Bug Report...web map layer 'filter edits' option disappears

My web map appears to have a bug...I have a problem that has occurred twice. I create a web map and the 'filter edits' option is available for a layer and then it disappears. This is critical because we grade work done in our private organization through this 'filter edits' option. I cannot share the web map or feature service because it is a private caribbean company.

I'd suggest contacting technical support if you think you are running into a bug and can't share the content publicly. They will be able to ask specific questions and find our more about your specific workflow.

What field are you filtering by? Is it a string, numeric or date field?
