Create a Web Map with same id as a previous (now deleted) Web Map

Hi,

I accidentally deleted a web map from AGOL, and now need to create a new web map with the same id. The web map is referenced in an application and the application broke after the deletion of the web map. Is it possible to create a new Web Map with an id of my choice?

Hi Kamran,

Unfortunately, I am not aware of any way to replicate the item id of a previous item to match that of a new item. Is it possible to update the application to reference the new item id? Is there a reason why the old item id is needed?

Hi Marisa,

The application cannot be updated, because its a 32 bit application running on an iPad 3. If the application is updated it will be a 64 bit application, as Apple wont allow 32 bit anymore. iPad 3 can not run 64 bit apps. So to use the new application, my client will have to buy 40-50 new iPads for the fieldworkers.
