The&amp;nbsp;&lt;A class="link-titled" href="http://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/analyze/join-features.htm" title="http://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/analyze/join-features.htm"&gt;Join Features—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;tool is something you could use after editing to pull the City field into the point layer as a new output.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm not aware of a way to do it automatically as you edit in ArcGIS Online but the Attirbute Assistant might be helpful if you're using ArcGIS Desktop:&amp;nbsp;&lt;A class="link-titled" href="https://solutions.arcgis.com/shared/help/attribute-assistant/" title="https://solutions.arcgis.com/shared/help/attribute-assistant/"&gt;Attribute Assistant | ArcGIS Solutions&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Carmel&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <title>AUTO POPULATE ATTRIBUTE</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a point .shp, that has a "city" field in the attribute table, which is null at the moment.&amp;nbsp;Also, polygon&amp;nbsp;.shp that contains a populated "city" field.&amp;nbsp; What I want is the point&amp;nbsp;shape to auto populate the "city" from the polygon field based on its spatial relationship as I create new points.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ryan Chittenden&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
