Field Legend Slider

Hi,

I was wondering if it's possible to on a feature class within an ArcGIS Online Application, to create some sort of slider that would change how a feature class (such as a polyline) value's symbolized.

Here's a visual:

I have 3 lines

OBJECTID	Year2014	Year2015	Year2016
1	100	200	300
2	50	100	150
3	67	87	92

I want to show the change over time in the feature class.. (OBJECTID1 is a good example)

Hi Scott,

I think you may be able to accomplish this by enabling time on your layer and using one of our time slider widgets or configurable applications.

You may also be interested in Arcade functions for symbology.

Thanks Peter,

I have done the Time Aware stuff, but it requires uploading duplicate layers. Hopefully a field/symbology slider is implemented in the feature

Hi Scott,

Thanks for the response on this. I did a quick search on the ArcGIS Ideas site, but was not able to find an existing idea for this functionality. You might want to log this functionality as an Idea so you and other ArcGIS Online users can up-vote it. A lot of Ideas are implemented each ArcGIS Online update.
