Using European Routing service with restrictions

It looks to me that routing restrictions when using the European Routing service are ignored.

For example, using the ArcGIS API for JavaScript, both

routeParams.restrictionAttributes = ["Riding a Bicycle"];

and

routeParams.restrictionAttributes = ["none"];

give the same results. Even if this includes highway segments in the resulting route.

Is the European network dataset incomplete with regards to the restriction attributes? Is there perhaps a specific location in Europe where I can verify the difference between a route with/without restrictions?

Kristof,

Are you trying to generate a bicycle route ? Please provide us the x,y co-ordinates so that we can check if this feature can be supported by the dataset.

In general our dataset does not support generating bicycle routes. The network is more suited for vehicle routing. Coming back to your question there are very few segments that are marked for vehicle routing and they are scattered throughout Germany. Since there are not much street segments marked for bicycle driving you did not find any difference between the routes even after setting the restrictions parameter.
