topic AGO Export Data lags, wrong directory, corrupted in ArcGIS Online Questions

When trying to export a view layer to Shapefile or CSV in AGO it stalls after clicking export (it will not complete itself), then places the export in the root directory instead of a selected folder. The zip files are corrupted for these exports. It has happened before, but went away the next day. We tested this on 2 different computers and networks, and tried exporting both the original and view layer with the same results.
