How do I create an app that gets specific location data from users?

Newbie to ArcGIS online - want help creating a basic interactive, embeddable input app for real estate owners. I need them to be able to search for a street address, pinpoint a location near to their building, and add some various notes.

Ideally, their input will be only visible to them; i.e. they are not inputting to a crowd-sourced layer, this is a private relationship between us and them. But there will be many different users who should be able to click on a link, rather than have to log in / have an account.

We need to collect:

- user-added point data / co-ordinates

- user-added metadata attached to the points

- preferably photos can be added to the points by users

Anyone willing to help / guide / show me an example? Thanks a lot!

Thank you - this requires (as far as I can see) devices in the field; I am talking about embeddable web apps (using the ArcGIS online interface) that are for very informal and infrequent users. Thanks.

Look at some of those same links. You can create maps, embed them using some of the pre-built templates, or use the online Web App Builder to add a few more features. All this can be done online and using a browser. If you want to get really fancy, you can do more (and still have it available in a browser), but I would start with just ArcGIS Online option

Yes I have already explored these. It's slightly hard to find the very simple functionality of having folks add a point and tagging it! But I will persist - if you know the template webapp that does that, please let me know! You are great, thank you.

If this is for specific users, ensure that they have a login and you have shared the app with a group that has the appropriate users.
