arcgis online web app: change a polygon export symboly

Does anyone have a suggestion on how to reconfigure the symbology of an exported feature in a web app? Currently when I use the select widget in an online app and do an export the symbology is identical to the parent layer. I would like it to stand out more. In this case I am selecting a parcel and want it to stand out more in a printout.

Hi Bob Noyes‌,

I tested this with a hosted feature layer and am seeing my configured selection color in the printout:

Where is the data in the taxlots layer coming from? In the screenshot above it also looks like it isn't respecting the selection color chosen either, and I'm wondering if a difference in data source is the cause of the issue.
