When attempting to Create a New Web App, configurable apps will not load.

When I attempt to Create a New Web App, the Configurable Apps tab "gets stuck" loading and will do so forever- never loading any of the configurable templates. To get around this, if I know the app template I am looking for I typically just search it and configure from there. But I would like to see the catalog of configurable app templates without the unnecessary go-around. Does so in Mozilla and Chrome and have just updated those, in case old versions were the cause.

Hi Abby,

Are you using ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS? If the latter, which release?
Have you tried to troubleshoot by clearing your web browser cache?

I am using ArcGIS Online. I did not have any success with loading the configurable app menu, even after clearing my web browser cache. I tried to do so in both Chrome and Firefox.

Hi Abby,

Are you an administrator in your ArcGIS Online organization? If so, can you please check if the configurable application templates have been enabled for your organization?

Please go to 'My Organization' > 'Edit settings' > 'Map'
Under the 'Configurable Apps', is there a group assigned to this parameter?

If this parameter is not set, can you please select 'Esri Default'? Then click Save. This should enable the configurable application templates for the ArcGIS Online map viewer.
