Set up feature service to have unique values renderer

Hello

I've uploaded a shapefile and published it as a feature service with the following details from its service url.
Drawing Info:
    Renderer:
        Simple Renderer:

May i know how to configure the feature service to something like the following, i.e. Simple Renderer to Unique Value Renderer
?

        Unique Value Renderer:

I've tried to assign symbols based on unique values when I viewed the feature service in ArcGIS.com map viewer. But these settings are saved in a web map instead of the feature service. So, how to save these settings in the feature service itself?

You need to save what you configured in the map back to the item. Here's how.
