Passing Lat and Long to a map using a QR code.

I am working with a map on arcgis.com, I want to pass information to the map from a QR code that would give the Latitude and Longitude of certain points. I have not been able to figure out the structure for passing data using the url of the map. Does anyone know how to do such a thing and could you share with me that structure?

These are the only URL parameters available for modifying the display of the Map Viewer in ArcGIS.com. For example, you can pass in an extent with the URL to zoom the map to a particular area.

I was wondering about how to use a QR Code in this process? Can we use other barcode types, like data matrix?

First question, I'm sorry that I hava no clue either but it seems a quite cool idea.
Second question, I can't say that QR code is better than Data Matrix, but in some ways, QR code will be a better choice than Data Matrix. Here are 2 of those reasons:
1.QR codes can store up to 4296 alphanumeric characters. Data Matrix can only hold 2335.
2.QR codes can store Japanese Kanji letters, while Data Matrix cannot.

qr code also has sth. different with data matrix , so i do not think it can be replaced
