Hi, I am wondering if not being able to symbolize on mutiple fields on a AGO hosted feature service is a problem for others. A majority of our data here is typically symbolized this way (STATUS, TYPE). I know that I could symbolize based on the type and filter based on the status but this would potentially double the number of layers a user would have to bring in to display the data they need. Does anyone have any recommendations for this without the use of ArcGIS server? Is this functionality a possiblity in the future?

Thanks
Dan

No, you can't symbolize on more than one attribute value using unique symbols. We have considered this, but currently don't have plans to implement this. The problem is that the number of unique values increases and you end up with too many unique symbols, more than people can easily differentiate, especially if you're just using color variations.

Thanks,

Mike
