Thanks for the reply James. It's not the spatial reference. We are using web mercator.

I only have one open data group so far. So, nothing to compare against. I guess I'll keep fussing with it and see what I figure out.

Hi,
I'm having trouble configuring my open data site. There seems to be no integration of map services and the map that is shown on the home page. I'm assuming that I should be able to preview a dataset on the map, identify features, etc.... Its not clear if its a bug or rather that I have failed to configure it properly.

I'm sharing one map service with a number of layers. I can preview the tabular data but nothing is shown on the map.

Also, I'd like the map to default to my organizations geographic extent. Currently it defaults to the United States.

Documentation on configuring the site is pretty thin. At least, what I have found so far. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using a custom projection? That was the trouble when I set up my open data web site. Once I switched my projection, everything worked a bit better.

Here were my questions
http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/107792-10-Initial-Questions

Also, I would try checking data from another open data group (not yours) and see if that works.

I hope this helps.
James Cucinelli
