I am currently making a map, and it would be handy on the new map viewer to have basic map add-ons such as a scale bar and compass rose add-ons. Those are so important to map making in general, and the fact that I cannot import one in from my ArcGIS Pro, or add one in manually on ArcGIS online is rather annoying. on the old map viewer, it includes a scale bar, but it appears that this function is not available on the new map service.
