<P>There is now no way to obtain <SPAN>Average Nearest Neighbor using analyse- tools in ArcGisonline. It is very useful when discribing and analyzing different spatial patterns . In the desktop arcgis there is a tool, but not in the Online version.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>I use a workaround: make a copy of the layer, use: find nearest locations with the original layer and use statistics in the table of the 'connecting lines' layer (attribute: distance). Mean and standard deviation will give you a sort of P or Z index.
