Create sketch layer on top of the webapp/webmap

I would like the ability of creating one or multiple sketch layer(s) on top of my webmap/webapp. (like sketch pad)
Perhaps it can be saves as a geotiff.
The user will be able to draw lines in different line styles, weights and colours and symbols.
In this way the user can create simple quick sketches for instance in case of a changed situation survey.

Hi @GemeenteApeldoorn - be sure to check out the new Sketch layers in the new Map Viewer and let us know your feedback! I think they meet most of what you're looking for in this Idea.
