      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;As I understand it, this request it to provide the ability to interactively add a point by typing in lat/long or x/y values using the ArcGIS Online Map Viewer or the ArcGIS Online Basic Viewer template.&amp;nbsp; These are office workers not field staff.&amp;nbsp; One work flow solution would be to provide filed staff the ability to capture points using the Collector for ArcGIS app.&amp;nbsp; You might find this &lt;A href="http://blogs.esri.com/esri/arcgis/2013/07/15/smartphones-tablets-and-gps-accuracy/" target="_blank"&gt;blog post&lt;/A&gt; regarding data caputre and accuracy with smart phones interesting.
