By default the webmap maximum scale is 1:1128. In some maps it is not sufficient.

It will be great to have the ability to define the greater map scale when it is necessary.

It was also be very useful if this could be implemented in Collector. We want to be able to replace our current hard copy maps for vegetation, habitat and archaeological field capture with Collector. Currently for many proejcts we need to produce maps with 7.5-15cm resolution imagery at a scale of 1:1,000 and sometimes 1:500 to get a scale large enough to allow accurate mapping of ground features. The current restriction to 1:1128 (resolution about 30cm image resolution I think) on a standard size tablet/ipad makes digitising the features tricky. The large size of tile cahces is not generally a problem as most of the time out study areas are only a few hectares in size.
