Click map, Add Point and X,Y Label

In AGOL and Desktop, it would be great to have a tool that allows you to click anywhere on the layout side of the map (or data view for that matter) and add either annotation or text that creates a point, and subsuquently adds the x,y of that point as text. There's many ways to go about doing this in arcmap with many clicks, but being able to quickly click around and produce both the point and the x,y coordinates would be great.

I agree! This capability exists in GoogleEarth and I use it all the time. I become frustrated when I remember I can't do this in ArcMap.
