Embed Maps or Apps on New Map Viewer

In the classic map viewer, there used to be an embed map section in share. ESRI is pushing the new map viewer but we lost the ability to embed maps. Can we please get a timeline for when AGO will allow embedding web maps?

I also faced the same dilemma, since the map I created in the new Viewer looked just awful in Classic. I got around this by using one of the instant apps and made a map app that embedded well. Instant Apps do have embed code.

BrandonJCSD , if you are looking for an Instant App similar to the previous embed app, you can start with Basic, Media, or Sidebar (if you'd like content to be in a side panel).
