idea Overwrite Existing Items in ArcGIS Online Ideas

When a user tries to save an output (via analysis) with the same name as an existing dataset with the purpose of overwriting it, Map Viewer returns an error that output failed because an item with the same name already exists. So, the user has to either delete the that existing item or change the output name.

Why doesn't AGOL support overwriting items?

I think this functionality is highly needed and will be really appreciated, cheers.
