Kind of related to this Idea, and a way I think it could probably be implemented. Create Buffer/Geofence Around Points in Field Maps - Esri Community

In short, I would like Map Viewer to have a group layer tempate.

In Pro, you can use group templates to create multiple associated features from different layers at once.

I would like to do this in AGOL (and then in FieldMaps) to speed up the editing process, as well as do some of our data processing in advance; no need to manually buffer when you can populate the associated feature class automatically when you place the site.

I actually came across this error while trying to publish a web layer with Group Template, 24081: Group templates are not supported—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation. But, in ESRI UK's Utility Network Editor demo video they display a group template option but did not create any features. I don't know how they achieved it. @GlenOlliEsriUK @BenWalker

Hi! I have the same issue but I work with Utility Network. I would like to achive workflow showed in this video created by Esri Australia: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCG6koNhTmQ&t=1233s. In 20:40 you can see creating new set of features (residential connection) using some template. It is even said that this is a group template that will create a collection of features based on predified rules established in ArcGIS Pro. And now I'm a bit confused beacuse there is still no support for group template in web feature layers: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/sharing/analyzer-warning-messages/24081-group-templates-are-not-supported.htm

Could someone help in this topic?
