Unable to access the authentication service AGOL Feature service

Hello everyone,

I am currently testing an AGOL WAB Web editing application. I changed the service in ArcGIS Server 10.2.2 from unlocked to locked, and added a group of users to grant access. The service has a feature service used in a polygon feature layer.

This WAB application works fine with the service unlocked. After locking it, I get the following error message, when I enter my login credentials in the Sign In dialog box. http://support.esri.com/technical-article/000012014

"Please sign in to access the item on http://[server]:6080/arcgis

Unable to access the authentication service".

I was able to create this same ArcGIS Service in my local workstation locked, and it worked fine locally, but in the server I get the error .

Is there some reason you are not using ArcGIS Web Adaptor?

How do you know that the server is not using ArcGIS Web Adaptor?

Jose,

If you were using web adaptor then I would not expect to see the port number in the url.
