I'm trying to configure a notebook to get parameters from layers in an EXP builder app(after publishing as a web tool) and the logic i want needs to:</P><OL><LI>select a layer from the map widget</LI><LI>select from a list of choices which query logic to use for a date field</LI><LI>Populate a date field by default but give the option to change it if the name differs between layers</LI><LI>Output the query as a layer in the map widget (this will then be printed to pdf)</LI></OL><P>According to the basic guides from esri the choice list should just be an option when you choose string, long, or double data types. There doesn't seem to be a lot of written examples for interacting with their own apps as a published web tool.
