topic Network Analyst ArcGIS CRS question in ArcGIS Network Analyst Questions

Hi there

I am currently learning about coordinate reference systems and I have a question related to Network Analyst in ArcGIS Pro. Basically my intuition says that the CRS should be projected, but i find no documentation anywhere about this. I have taken a look at an ESRI tutorial how to create a usable network dataset and the test data provided is all in EPSG:4326. Is that a requirement? Can it basically handle either projected or geographic? Can anyone point me to some documentation?

For example, if i have a city that i want to do a location-allocation analysis what type of coordinate should it be, if i want to use the network analyst as part of that then does it have to be EPSG:4326?

Thanks

Network Analyst has no particular requirements for spatial reference. You can use anything you like.
