Hi Max,

Here are the two job IDs:
Peak: jf6b53aa38f1a475db85ce41973b3103b
Off-Peak: j364c829ee6844016ad0416e339416a56

I have multiple locations going to one central location. But one of the ones that should show a large gap in time is W 2nd Ave, Corsicana, TX 75110. The destination address is 4420 Worcola St, Dallas, TX 75206.

I am trying to get average commute times from around the metroplex using the network analyst tools provided by ESRI. So using their network layer instead of one I've built myself.

From everything I've read, it should automatically use historical traffic data. But I'm not seeing that it does (unless it's just wildly inaccurate). I am running the tool twice, once at 'peak traffic' (set at 7:30am) and once at 'off-peak traffic' (set around 10pm). I would expect there to be massive differences in time it takes but even when I know there should be at least a half hour difference, it only shows about a 5 minute difference.

Am I using the tool wrong? Since I only care about the time I am running an OD Cost Matrix analysis. I have the Date and Time section set for Day of Week, Wednesday, 7:30am.

The source is AGOL.

Am I just running it wrong?

Info: Running the tool in ArcGIS Pro 3.4.2

Hey Heather, can you share the origin and destination you used for the OD analysis? That way we can see the region you are solving and take a look at the data. From what you described, nothing seems wrong in your step.

Btw, Heather, in the history pane, each solve to ArcGIS Online should write out a job id in the messages. If you could share the two job ids (the peak solve, and the off-peak solve), then I can take a look at the request parameters as well to confirm whether the settings are correct.

With those two coordinates, I saw the total travel time during peak hour was returned as about 69 minutes, and during off-peak hour was returned as about 56 minutes. I think that is what you got on your response as well by looking at your job ids.

Are you expecting a larger different during peak and off-peak hour for these two locations?
