topic Duplicate stops from multiple GTFS data feeds in ArcGIS Network Analyst Questions

Hi there,

I am trying to build a network dataset using GTFS data for various public transportation methods (bus, subway, ferry, etc) in NYC. I have imported several different GTFS stops data into the GTFS To Network Dataset Transit Sources tool, but it seems like a couple of the GTFS feeds have duplicate stops. Will this cause a problem with the network dataset, or is it able to recognize duplicate stops?

Thank you for your help! Let me know if I need to clarify my question or provide any more information.

This shouldn't be a problem. As long as each input GTFS dataset is valid, the tool will just process each one separately and do the right thing. You may end up with multiple stop features in the same location, but this will not cause any errors in the dataset or in routing.
