I have attempted to merge two shapefiles and then create a network dataset from the merged shapefile. However when I select two points for a new route, where the first is on what would have been in one shapefile and the other on what would have been the other shapefile, I get an error message that there is no solution. It still acts like there are two sets of data. Any help would be appreciated.
