2023 cannot register ArcGIS Server

In Monitor 2023, while I can register a Portal component just fine, I have not been able to register an ArcGIS Server component. I get either "An error has occurred" or "Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'map')." Does it make a difference that I've been trying to register a federated server?

Hi Mark,

What version of ArcGIS Server are you trying to register?
Are you trying to register Server over the web adaptor (https://server.domain.com/webadaptor) or port (https://server.domain.com:6443/arcgis)?
Are you using the ArcGIS Server's primary site administrator credentials to register it?

I've been connecting through the port using the Portal admin credentials. I'll try some different combinations of connection vs. credentials as well. There are also different server versions (10.6.1, 10.8.1, 10.9.1) that I can try. I'll let you know how it goes.

That was my mistake, trying to use the Portal admin account. Using the local admin worked.
