ArcGIS Monitor 10.9.X

Does anyone have an idea when Monitor 10.9.x will be available? I was looking forward to the upgrade especially after the last video preview I saw on it discussed it having API more similar to ArcGIS Server and a better user experience, to name 2 things I had seen. The video below starts at the spot where it is being discussed and demo'd.

There will not be an ArcGIS Monitor 10.9 release. A next generation ArcGIS Monitor release is currently being developed, with an early adopter release targeted for Q3 2021 timeframe.

Sounds good! I'll have to keep my eyes on the horizon and hopeful that the release comes sooner than later. The proposed changes looked amazing.

FYI, the next generation ArcGIS Monitor early adopter release is now scheduled for Q4 2021 timeframe.

It seems quiet enough that this has not been released yet and we won't see anything until the next major release of ArcGIS Enterprise in 2022.

I want to know about that too! I have been holding off on a lot of metrics work because of the whole...it's going to be a huge change...and I did not want to have to rebuild from the ground up.

The next release of ArcGIS Monitor is currently in early adopter alpha holistic testing. We're targeting the beta for late June/July timeframe. Final release is planned for end of 2022. Apologies for the delay.

I'm not sure about its release, but I think the 10.8 ArcGIS Monitor is sufficient, presumably since it provides modest improvements to the software and documentation but no big new capabilities.

Based on what was released during the Dev conference in 2021, I would say that the next release is going to be a significant improvement from the last. Monitor a decent bridge tool between the traditional IT and GIS folks. I think the next release is going to do a better job of highlighting what GIS folks want to know.

Yes. In the forthcoming next gen ArcGIS Monitor release, the Analysis tab - which enables you to configure custom data metric displays, will offer the functionality that you've described in your submitted idea. When a chart contains multiple data series, you'll be able to select one of them in the legend to "filter" it from the other data series in the chart.

The next ArcGIS Monitor release is scheduled for the end of Jan 2023. It is a completely new product with a new architecture and framework. Users familiar with current ArcGIS Monitor will find some capabilities have been redesigned in the updated UI/UX, providing an improved administrative user experience. I mention this because it is not a simple upgrade, but it users will have to transition to the new release.
