However, when I use mapComponent.View.WorldToGeographic(), the returned ArcGisPoint has the spatial reference of WKID 4329, which makes my calculations wrong. Looking deeper with the help of the debugger, I remarked that my mapComponent has the correct spatial reference but the view has the one with WKID 4329.
