Hi,

apologies in advance as this isnt isn’t specifically related to ESRI however I’m hoping you can help.

I'm looking for sources of historic mapping from around 1800 - present for the UK. I know there is likely to be a few which isn't a problem, what would be best is either a free source of the data or a subscription service where I can pay monthly to access this data.

if anyone has any information at all that would be great.

thanks,

Charlie

I'm afraid I don't have a direct sources to provide but I did want to suggest you check with universities to see if perhaps they have map archives that have been scanned. Check with their university library or perhaps their geography department. Here in the U.S., and specifically in my state, one of the universities offers precisely this for our state and it's all available for download.
